THE CONCERT SERIES THAT HIGHLIGHTS TEXAS SHINING STARS AND SUPPORTS WIMBERLEY RISING STARS

Stars Over Wimberley Benefit Concert Series is a collaboration between the Wimberley Valley Arts and Cultural Alliance (WVACA) and the Wimberley Players. Our mission is to showcase Texas musical artists – our shining stars – and support the Robert Moreman Memorial Scholarships for creative Wimberley graduating high school seniors – our rising stars, while bringing cultural enrichment to our community.

Stars Over Wimberley will present 4-6 special concerts a year featuring highly accomplished musicians in the intimate 100-seat Playhouse setting, where every seat is a great seat.

Proceeds from the concerts will be shared between the musicians and the scholarship fund, which provides generous awards to talented arts- and trades-oriented high school graduates from Wimberley High School and Katherine Anne Porter School.

“There is no doubt that creativity is the most important human resource of all. Without creativity, there would be no progress, and we would be forever repeating the same patterns.” Edward De Bono

We are seeking a limited number of underwriters for this special concert series. This effort will ensure that young people from Wimberley will continue to study and thrive in their chosen creative fields.
